Description fedeliallalinea 2004-12-09 02:34:37 UTC
I noticed that udev creates all tty/pty[a-z][0-9], it's normal this? I changed two rules in /etc/udev/rules.d/50-udev.rules. In this way the files pty and tty disappear.
KERNEL="pty[p-za-e][0-9a-f]*", NAME="pty/m%n", SYMLINK="%k" to KERNEL="pty[p-za-e][0-9a-f]*", NAME="pty/m%n"
KERNEL="tty[p-za-e][0-9a-f]*", NAME="pty/s%n", SYMLINK="%k" to KERNEL="tty[p-za-e][0-9a-f]*", NAME="pty/s%n"

No, this is the correct set of rules.
