All sanity-check issues have been resolved arm64 done x86 stable arm done amd64 done Can you guys NOT stabilize without having matching version of net-print/hplip-plugin in the tree? It breaks user's upgrade. net-print/hplip-plugin bump request: https://bugs.gentoo.org/729012 The previous bug report with the same issue: https://bugs.gentoo.org/709546 (In reply to Anton Bolshakov from comment #8) > Can you guys NOT stabilize without having matching version of > net-print/hplip-plugin in the tree? You don't need to capitalise and things. It also doesn't *break* upgrades, it just means people get an annoying warning (which I completely agree we want to avoid). Is any way to make a permanent change, so we won't face the same issue over and over again with every new version? like PDEPEND or any other better way? (In reply to Anton Bolshakov from comment #10) > Is any way to make a permanent change, so we won't face the same issue over > and over again with every new version? > > like PDEPEND or any other better way? The solution is to remove hplip-plugin from the tree because it has no maintainer! Please just continue with stabilisation. If nobody cares about the plugins we have to remove them. I often stated that I have not the time and capabilities to do so! It looks like that the source has changed.
