To speed up things. Stu Tomlinson (from gaim bugtrack): "This looks like a gtkspell / enchant bug, and/or a gtk theme bug, and you're using gentoo, and you filed this in gentoo's bug tracker too, so I'm closing this." Yes Stu is right and why did you file in gaim's bug tracker? With default gtk theme: GLib-GObject: value "-2146479797" of type `gint' is invalid or out of range forproperty `weight' of type `gint' GLib-GObject: value "-2146479797" of type `gint' is invalid or out of range forproperty `weight' of type `gint' gtkspell: Failed to setup GtkSpell: enchant error for language: ru_RU.UTF-8 prefs: writing prefs out to disk. Chat window has quite normal size now, but gaim doesn't save its size for next opened chat windows. So I have to resize it over and over again. I know it is offtopic, but... Is it normal? Is your enchant problem fixed? See comment #3 I am not sure if it is fixed. Chat windows is still very long in width. I was just talking about the enchant/gtkspell bug, which has nothing to do with window sizes. Yes, it still present. And you have installed aspell-ru? I hadn't :) Is your window size still not being remembered? Yes. How do I know that: 1. Open chat window to user "John" 2. Resize it 3. Close it 4. Open chat window again and size of windows and position becomes default. Gaim doesn't remember window positions, except for the buddy list. I assume you're talking about conversation/chat windows. Are the sizes still not being remembered? Are you using gaim-1.1.1? >I assume you're talking about conversation/chat windows. Ofcource. [gaim 1.1.1 from official site tarball] http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1013478&group_id=235&atid=100235 Try to rm .gaim/prefs.xml and let it recreate it. Are you using any non stock plugins? Waiting to hear back from reporter. |
