This compiled OK on my P3 desktop. My emerge info for the P3 is: Portage 2.0.51-r3 (default-linux/x86/2004.0, gcc-3.3.4, glibc-2.3.4.20040808-r1, 2.6.9-gentoo-r9 i686) ================================================================= System uname: 2.6.9-gentoo-r9 i686 Pentium III (Coppermine) Gentoo Base System version 1.6.7 ccache version 2.3 [enabled] Autoconf: sys-devel/autoconf-2.59-r5 Automake: sys-devel/automake-1.8.5-r1 Binutils: sys-devel/binutils-2.15.90.0.1.1-r3 Headers: sys-kernel/linux26-headers-2.6.8.1-r1 Libtools: sys-devel/libtool-1.5.2-r7 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="x86" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CFLAGS="-march=pentium3 -O3 -mfpmath=sse -pipe" CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu" COMPILER="" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3.3/env /usr/kde/3.3/share/config /usr/kde/3.3/shutdown /usr/kde/3/share/config /usr/lib/X11/xkb /usr/share/config /usr/share/texmf/dvipdfm/config/ /usr/share/texmf/dvips/config/ /usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/config/ /usr/share/texmf/tex/platex/config/ /usr/share/texmf/xdvi/ /var/qmail/control" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/terminfo /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-march=pentium3 -O3 -mfpmath=sse -pipe" DISTDIR="/maxtor/distfiles" FEATURES="autoaddcvs autoconfig candy ccache distlocks sandbox sfperms" GENTOO_MIRRORS="ftp://gg3.net/pub/linux/gentoo/ ftp://ftp.ecc.u-tokyo.ac.jp/GENTOO" MAKEOPTS="-j2" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/portage" SYNC="rsync://rsync.ca.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="X a52 aalib alsa anthy apm arts avi berkdb bitmap-fonts cdr cjk crypt cscope cups dri dvd encode esd f77 fam flac foomaticdb fortran freetype gdbm ggi gif glx gnome gphoto2 gpm gstreamer gtk gtk2 guile imagemagick imlib ipv6 jack java jpeg junit kde ldap libg++ libwww live mad mailwrapper mikmod mjpeg mmx motif mpeg nas ncurses nls nptl oggvorbis opengl oss pam pda pdflib perl png python qt quicktime readline samba scanner sdl slang speex spell sse ssl svga tcltk tcpd tiff truetype truetype-fonts type1-fonts usb v4l x86 xml xml2 xmms xprint xv xvid zlib" I'm totally embarassed! My distfile location was a directory on a USB external hardrive, which evidentally was in the beginning stages of crapping out last night. I was having all kinds of emerge errors this morning, couldn't write to the drive and it won't even mount now. Changed my distfile directory to my internal harddrive and I was able to emerge the ebuild with no problems. Sorry for the false alarm. Please close this report. No worries, that's okay ;) |
