aqemu didn't start and starting it from the command line revealed a segfault

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. $ aqemu
2. crash

Actual Results:  
crash

Expected Results:  
it starts the GUI

Output, stack trace, and einfo is forthcoming
