This reported issue was the only one that I could find related to my problem. I have this happening on my Arch machine as well. It also happens on Cinnamon's file manager nemo. It's probably an upstream bug, but I don't know where to report it. Making the loop image using udisksctl loop-setup manually works reliably. Maybe it's something with the dbus communication between udisks and the other clients like nemo and gnome-disk-utility Upstream issues are here: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-disk-utility/-/issues Please see if any of them look familiar. |
