Maybe we should drop it to ~arch instead?

There is #723252 which is a STABLEREQ kicad-5.1.5, which has not been resolved yet. We can skip stabilizing 5.1.5 if we want to, but this will be just as blocked.

There is a PR on the aforementioned bug that fixes dblatex (needed to resolve #723412 for app-doc/kicad-doc), that has not been merged for quite some time, as well as vtk-8.2 has quite a few bugs needing to be fixed before it can be stabilized.

I think sci@ may have a policy against stabilizing these packages.

Yes, we try and only stabilize packages that are generally useful to things other than sci. Please strongly consider dropping these to ~arch.

We're unable to make progress for almost two months now, and wxpython seems to be a dead end.  I'm going to drop it to ~arch instead.
