I have the same issue. Switched to media-libs/fontconfig-2.13.0-r4 as a workaround. In the initial report, it was building the tests, seemingly unconditionally. Actually running them probably would have been a non-starter. As least as 2.14.2 with its transition to Meson, the tests are no longer build unconditionally, and the rest builds just fine for me. I had to fudge the dependencies because we sadly don't have Windows profiles any more, so it tried to install util-linux, which obviously won't work. I didn't have to install any special uuid library either. libuuid.a is part of mingw64-runtime. Admittedly I used x86_64-w64-mingw32 rather than i686-w64-mingw32, but I doubt it would make any difference here. |
