New ebuild file for mail-filter/popick version 0.1
Um, it looks like there's a mistake in src_install() - you should dobin popick and then dosym popick.pl to popick. Also, please set the ebuild header to match the one in /usr/portage/skel.ebuild exactly. Thanks. Created attachment 45389 [details]
Updated ebuild mail-filter/popick 0.1-r1
Just uploaded ebuild version 0.1-r1 to satisfy your comments. Thank you. As portage was emerging dependencies for this package, I came across an error while installing dev-perl/Test-Pod. (bug #73950). I cannot test popick unless this is resolved, sorry. Fine, a workaround has been found (see mentioned bug), so I am able to install and run popick. Nice utility. :) Anyway, popick-0.1 is now in CVS portage, the ebuild will hit mirrors in few hours. Thank you! Thank you Too bad the freshmeat crew thought otherwise (they said it was trivial) and rejected my submission there. By version 0.2 I'll create a homepage for it and change all references to freshmeat in the docs to my site. |
