== emerge -1pv cairo [ebuild U ] x11-libs/cairo-1.16.0-r4::gentoo [1.16.0-r3::gentoo] USE="X glib opengl svg (-aqua) -debug (-gles2-only) -static-libs -utils -valgrind" ABI_X86="32 (64) (-x32)" 0 KiB It looks like this mess is connected to the recently forced lib32-bit migration of GenToo which is broken. I spend many hours rebuilding dependencies and child-dependencies (equery g cairo) of this package. At one point (I can't tell where) the error moved on to another package but with practically the same wording. In the end I managed to get it compiled but portage was not helpful there. The dependency handling of portage totally broke down. |
