Can you include the build.log references in the error message? Created attachment 650140 [details]
build.log
build.log for failing compile
Apologies, no idea why I missed doing that. Confirmed here. Same build log. This looks like a dupe of 730034. The actual error is: /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/10.1.0/../../../../x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/bin/ld: cannot find -lx265 The rest is just other build threads finishing. Can you try building with an updated patch attached in 730034? Reading through the other post, I installed x265 separately first then tried Handbrake again, that worked. It compiled without issue. I did look for dupes before I logged this originally but I guess the reports were too different to show up in my search. Same problem, same fix. I noted that I also had -x265 for a USE flag. Maybe that's standard, but shouldn't be? I didn't even have x265 installed and the previous handbrake worked. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 730544 *** |
