Description Rudo Thomas 2004-12-03 06:23:28 UTC
After emerging glibc-2.3.4.20041102 (~x86 at this time) using +nptl and +nptlonly, xmms started to behave strangely. It did not advance to the next file in the playlist after completing playing one. Re-emergeing xmms did not help.

Going back to glibc-2.3.4.20040808-r1 solved the issue (without the need to re-emerge xmms again).

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

This might be potentially dangerous for other parts of the system, so I marked
this bug major.

Unfortunately, I cannot conduct further testing.

This bug needs to be closed no emerge info provided and glibc causing xmms to fail is false I have used xmms ~x86 with glibc ~x86 forever and a day and never had a problem I would bet the CFLAGS would show a roll in this if they was provided.
