@tgall: 2.6.9-r6 works for me. please check and mark stable or give me the "ok"
to do so. ;-)

Sorry, typically another security bug turned up.. Could you please do the same for 2.6.9-r9

I suggest that you test ACPI shutdown, as other than the security fixes, an ACPI poweroff fix is the only difference from -r8.
