Still to do (which will be tough) is to get rid of gnome-vfs by migrating to gio. Is there a known deadline for gnome-vfs removal in portage? gnome-base/gnome-vfs can only be removed after gnome-base/libgnome and gnome-base/libgnomeui are done, and that will take a while. No definitive date though. In this case I will remove the string "and gnome-base/gnome-vfs" in the subject of that bug report so that we can close the bug after stabilization of gnome commander 1.10.3. Adding amd64 and x86 teams for going stable. I can confirm that all packages which gnome-commander depends on are stable. When stabilising and closing this bug here, kindly also reference bug #728358, which can be closed together with the current request. Technically, we haven't had the 30-day waiting time yet. But if as upstream you feel very comfortable with that release, I won't stop you. amd64 stable x86 stable. Closing.
