Description José María Fernández González 2020-05-29 20:49:48 UTC
dev-libs/mongo-cxx-driver-3.5.0 version bump

When I was researching how to enable MongoDB support in sci-libs/gdal, I found that it needs a much newer version of dev-libs/mongo-cxx-driver than the one available in Gentoo Portage, which is 1.1.2 .

Reproducible: Always

I took existing dev-libs/mongo-cxx-driver-1.1.2 ebuild as template, and I have rewritten it almost completely, because this release of the library uses cmake+ninja instead of SCons to build the source. In order to minimize third-party dependencies, the ebuild enables c++17 features.

I'd file a new bug for that, but probably best to add it in GURU.
