please remove --quiet from start-stop-daemon parameters and put some logs/outputs in here. I see in adsl-start that if CONNECT_TIMEOUT is 0, then it will not run adsl-status to see if connection is started or not. no response sorry but i can't stop the two computers during day ( link via internet between two networks at work ) and rp-pppoe-3.5-r5 come and solved the pb before i come to the place of one of them: "/etc/init.d/rp-pppoe stop" don't try to stop a process not running ( even if it was ;) ) and a hard 'kill' on all process should have leave me in a very bad peace of life from home ;) beside this fact even if i was unable to test, the naming of pidfiles was the pb, this change in 3.5-r5 and work fine now. thanks for all and sorry you should have told me the issue was resolved in -r5. |
