Description Agostino Sarubbo gentoo-dev 2020-05-10 09:26:51 UTC
This is an auto-filled bug because app-admin/lastpass-binary-component installs files with unresolved SONAME dependencies.
The issue was originally discovered on amd64, but it may be reproducible on other arches as well.
If you think that a different summary clarifies the issue better, feel free to change it.
Attached build log and emerge --info.

This is a false positive if you are merging this package inside a sandbox that has no support for X. This package is strictly to be used with firefox or chrome. It makes no sense to install it otherwise. You cannot directly execute it.

We **could** add X as a dependency but it wouldn't do anything beyond making the QA check happy. And I don't like the idea of a giant any-of dependency with all the supported browsers in it either. It will unnecessarily slow down the dep resolution with no benefit to the end user.

Feel free to reopen if this is happening in an X environment.
