That's weird, dev-python/toml is listed in BDEPEND. I assume you don't have it installed, right? Just tried to unmerge zipp and toml and the latter does get pulled: # emerge -1 =dev-python/zipp-2.0.1 These are the packages that would be merged, in order: Calculating dependencies... done!
