Option for 64bit quantum depth is available since 2009 year, according to git log.


Reproducible: Always




Can't find even discussions about such option at gentoo bugtracker or forum, so it's unclear is it refused or just unnoticed. I assume second possible, since e.g. graphicsmagick doesn't have entry for depth=64 in configure.ac.

You should have searched all bugs (not only open bugs) with words "imagemagick q64" in summary.

If you have new information, add it to original bug.
