I'm not sure I understand this error message. Shouldn't /usr/lib/libplacebo.so.43 go to /usr/lib and not /usr/lib64? Why are they colliding? I'm not sure how to reproduce since I run a no-multilib system. Same issue for me with same error message. Can you please test if this is a regression? i.e. does media-libs/libplacebo-1.29.1 merge successfully? > Can you please test if this is a regression? i.e. does media-libs/libplacebo-1.29.1 merge successfully?
I was about to test again, so I tried emerging 2.43.0 first, but the issue disappeared. It emerges fine.
I think it was the buggy dev-util/meson 0.54 update that caused this. It is now masked in portage so emerge downgraded to meson 0.53 and I think that's why libplacebo builds fine now.
We can close it then. |
