gzip tar'd log output from 'emerge orbit'
as requested
Mike, the first thing you asked for, the 'emerge info'...what exactly do you want there? All I did at the command line was 'emerge orbit'. `emerge info` - as in the output of the command "emerge info". That way we could've found out you were on amd64 for example, without searching through the build log. And, whether you have ~amd64 set, so you can try the newer version. Could you try the following: ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~amd64" emerge orbit If this works, then it's likely something funny with the docs on that version of ORBit, although that's unlikely. Otherwise, it's something locally related to gtk-doc/docbook which we'll need to look at more closely. Please include your `emerge info`, and let us know about the command I mentioned above. Okay, here's the output from 'emerge info': Portage 2.0.51-r3 (default-amd64-2004.2, gcc-3.3.4, glibc-2.3.4.20040808-r1, 2.6.7-gentoo-r11 x86_64) ================================================================= System uname: 2.6.7-gentoo-r11 x86_64 AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3000+ Gentoo Base System version 1.4.16 ccache version 2.3 [enabled] Autoconf: sys-devel/autoconf-2.59-r5 Automake: sys-devel/automake-1.8.5-r1 Binutils: sys-devel/binutils-2.15.90.0.1.1-r3 Headers: sys-kernel/linux26-headers-2.6.8.1-r1 Libtools: sys-devel/libtool-1.5.2-r7 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="amd64" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CFLAGS="-O2" CHOST="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu" COMPILER="" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3.3/env /usr/kde/3.3/share/config /usr/kde/3.3/shutdown /usr/kde/3/share/config /usr/lib/mozilla/defaults/pref /usr/share/config /var/qmail/control" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/terminfo /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-O2" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="autoaddcvs ccache distlocks" GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://gentoo.osuosl.org http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distributions/gentoo" MAKEOPTS="-j2" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/portage" SYNC="rsync://rsync.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="X aalib amd64 apache2 apm arts avi berkdb bitmap-fonts crypt divx4linux doc encode esd f77 foomaticdb fortran gdbm gif gnome gpm gtk gtk2 imagemagick imlib java jpeg kde libg++ libwww mikmod motif mozilla mpeg mysql ncurses nls nogcj oggvorbis opengl oss pam pdflib perl php png python qt quicktime readline sdl slang spell ssl tcpd truetype xml2 xmms xv zlib" And, running 'ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~amd64" emerge orbit' had the same results (eg: failure at the same point). Thanks. Can you still reproduce this problem? What version of gtk-doc do you have in your system? no response from reporter. |
