using the latest gimp ~x86 version and after updating to xorg-r3. I can no longer save xpm images. I asked a few other people to test it and they also get the same problem

Redhat has the same issue, assigning to x11.

I know that this is fixed in 6.8.* of xorg-x11, but that is no alternative for me (I'm stuck with a Radeon and ATIs drivers still don't work with newer xorg-x11 rleases). Are there any plans on backporting this to 6.7.latest?

Also, you're welcome to switch to the open-source radeon driver when you need to edit XPM images.

Niiice. Thanks for the heads up, Donnie. I think Xpm editing can wait 'til Mid-January :)
