`emerge libtool libmad`, remove your temporary files in /home/store/tmp/portage/ and try it again. Please drop a note, if that worked. I'm still unsure, what's causing this problem. If that did not work, do `find /usr/lib -iname "*\.la" -exec sed -i -r -e "s:/var/tmp/portage/.*/image/::g" '{}' \;` and remove your temp files again. Afterwards everything should work fine. I tried both `emerge libtool libmad`, remove your temporary files in /home/store/tmp/portage/ and try it again. Please drop a note, if that worked. I'm still unsure, what's causing this problem. If you need support, post the topmost build error, NOT this status message. So told fix did not solve problem i still cannot emerge koffice portage was synced today 11-30-04 Im sorry it took me so long to update this status report school is crazy!. Most likely you've got some ???.la file in /usr/lib that is invalidly referencing /var/tmp/portage/.../???.la. Some grepping there may help. Joe: Is this still a problem? If yes, does /usr/lib/libmad.la exist? What's its content, if so? No feedback. |
