Description David Flogeras 2020-03-25 10:09:23 UTC
Since upgrading to 3.23.4, I get the following when trying to start solfege.

(solfege:998): dbind-WARNING **: 07:02:03.781: Couldn't register with accessibility bus: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/solfege", line 58, in <module>
    import solfege.startup
  File "/usr/share/solfege/solfege/startup.py", line 45, in <module>
    from solfege.mainwin import MainWin, SplashWin
  File "/usr/share/solfege/solfege/mainwin.py", line 28, in <module>
    webbrowser.register_standard_browsers()
AttributeError: module 'webbrowser' has no attribute 'register_standard_browsers'

This call was added with the patch 'solfege-3.23.4-fix-webbrowser-module.patch'

If I look in the webbrowser.py module that comes with python 2 & 3 on my system, there is no such method.

Can confirm, `webbrowser.register_standard_browsers` was introduced in python3.7

A workaround is putting
```
media-sound/solfege PYTHON_SINGLE_TARGET: -python3_6 python3_7
```
in `/etc/portage/package.use`, but python3_6 should just be removed from `PYTHON_COMPAT` in the ebuild

I confirm, everything is so, one to one.
