I have an x86 boxen, and I have the same problem. this seems to be an arch independent problem. reassigning to wavesurfer's herd: sound ebuild of wavesurfer-1.7 provides tkcon.tcl, but wavesurfer-1.7.5 doesn't. In both wavesurfer tarballs tkcon.tcl is present and both ebuilds lood similar, so I don't know why 1.7 installs tkcon.tcl and 1.7.5 doesn't... wavesurfer-1.8.1 seams to fix that problem. When attempting to run wavesurfer it asks for tkcon. I don't see an ebuild like that. Should it be added as a dependency? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.emerge wavesurfer 2. 3.
