Description Jesse Harris 2020-02-17 22:51:42 UTC
After upgrading to systemd-244.2 my mouse and keyboard no longer work after a restart.
I did some research and found a corresponding issue on the systemd github page. I masked 244.2 and reverted back to 244 which has resolved my issue.

This is how lsusb identified my hub
Bus 003 Device 008: ID 1a40:0201 Terminus Technology Inc. FE 2.1 7-port Hub

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Connect a keyboard and mouse through a Terminus USB hub
2. Upgrade to systemd-244.2
3. Reboot
4. Attempt to use keyboard or mouse
Actual Results:
Keyboard and mouse did not respond.
From gdm, event Ctrl + Alt + Function key would not switch to alternative tty

Expected Results:
Keyboard and mouse input work

Plugging keyboard and mouse directly to USB ports on the computer work around the issue
