Product: Gentoo Linux Reporter: Rupert Leigh <rleigh>
Component: Current packagesAssignee: Wine Maintainers <wine>

Runtime testing required: ---

Description Rupert Leigh 2004-11-11 05:16:00 UTC
emerge is fine.
when i execute wine, it works. when i try and execute wineserver, wineboot or other files in /usr/lib/wine/bin they exit saying
"/usr/lib/wine/bin/wineserver: error while loading shared libraries: libwine.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

this can be fixed in a way, by setting LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/wine/lib
is there a perminant fix and can it be fixed in the ebuild? or do i need to set this each time?

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge wine
2. run /usr/lib/wine/bin/winserver
3.
Actual Results:
crash

Expected Results:
to work fine
