Install the tabbrowser extensions plugin as a workaround please. How do you think should we resolve this bug? I thought that the Firefox Developers would not disable features when going from RC2 to Final. So I thought it is caused by the compilation and therefore by for example a missing configure parameter ... Sry, but there is no "Tabbrowser" extension for Firefox. At least I did not find one. you can find it easily: http://www.google.com/search?q=tabbrowser+extensions Click the first link and there download. I encountered an interesting point: when I use the old config directory of 1.0rc2 (I backuped and deleted it to get a clean, new config directory) which had this feature enabled and use it with 1.0 it still works! So when it exists and when it works why can't I enable it? Sorry, I don't know why they removed the feature in 1.0. You might be able to still get it in about:config Either way it's not a Gentoo bug... you'd have to go upstream to get your question answered. |
