Description Eric Brown 2004-11-09 13:00:30 UTC
I am using xorg-x11 version 6.8.0-r1
and fluxbox version 0.9.10-r3
I also run xfs on startup (though i don't think that changed anything)

The main problem is that Fluxbox changes the font size between reboots. (i have tested with reboot/shutdown, not restarting xdm). This is most well noted by the size of the title bars on the windows and the height of the bar on the bottom of the screen (Using style Operation).

I goes between rather large fonts (that i want), and rather small fonts, I would estimate it to be a 30% difference in font size.

I have flubox set to use antialiased fonts.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. /etc/init.d/xdm start, login to fluxbox session (as in rc.conf)
2. logout of fluxbox, ctrl-alt-f1 to console, login as root, reboot
3. repeat step 1, notice the font size is different

Please report anything screwy with fluxbox's NLS or fonts upstream. I've given up trying to get a sane response from them about all of this...
