Got the same issue. Issue known upstream: https://github.com/pyca/pyopenssl/issues/735 Upstream has merged a fix for this [0,1]. The fix should be included in pyopenssl >19.1.0 (currently not released). Maybe the maintainer can add this patch? Note: There is also a second upstream pull request [2] but that is currently not merged and seems unneeded in wake of [0].
