Description Shoan Motwani 2004-11-06 11:38:05 UTC
A friend read a mail in thunderbird and maximized the message window(not the main tb window). Now each tb message is opened maximized. I tried several things:

1. Restart E
2. Restart X
3. Resize the window to the desired size and then exit the application
4. Resize the window to the desired size and then *remember* the size.

In all cases the message window was still opened in a maximized window.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open thunderbird
2. Double Click on an email to open the message window

Actual Results:
The message window appears maximized.

Expected Results:
The message window should be smaller.

Comment 1 Shoan Motwani 2004-11-18 22:12:35 UTC
Seems to be a problem specific to thunderbord alone.
Comment 2 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2004-12-18 19:16:19 UTC
try 0.16.7.2
Comment 3 Shoan Motwani 2004-12-30 21:30:04 UTC
I upgraded to 0.16.7.2. But unfortunately I no longer have access to the box on which I noticed the problem.

I will try it on another box and revert. Sorry for the delay.
Comment 4 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2005-08-19 22:06:44 UTC
seems to be fixed in 16.8 cvs
