then the md5sum is correct A developper needs to correct the digest file of the samba ebuild. A work-around for the moment is to: cd /usr/portage/net-fs/samba rm files/digest-samba-3.0.7-r1 export USE="+oav +kerberos +ldap +acl +mysql +pam +xml +xml2 +python +readline" emerge samba --fetchonly unset USE ebuild samba-3.0.7-r1.ebuild digest then you can emerge samba and it should work. Hysteric I'm getting this on a emerge world with samba 3.0.8 too: 12:29]jesse@isaac:[/home/jesse]# emerge --update --deep world Calculating world dependencies ...done! >>> emerge (1 of 28) net-fs/samba-3.0.8 to / >>> Downloading http://gentoo.osuosl.org/distfiles/smbldap-tools-0.8.5.tgz --12:42:48-- http://gentoo.osuosl.org/distfiles/smbldap-tools-0.8.5.tgz => `/usr/portage/distfiles/smbldap-tools-0.8.5.tgz' Resolving gentoo.osuosl.org... 140.211.166.134 Connecting to gentoo.osuosl.org[140.211.166.134]:80... connected. Digest verification Failed: !!! /usr/portage/distfiles/smbldap-tools-0.8.5.tgz !!! Reason: Filesize does not match recorded size Exit 1 This is nog a bug , just a small problem in some mirror servers. on some servers like http://samba.idealx.org/ have the correct md5sum. So manually wget the file from there , put it in /usr/portage/distfiles and you can emerge samba again. The file on all of the mirrors I've just checked is perfectly fine. |
