The sparc patch dependency has been removed in 3.3.1 on sparc, but not on PPC or PPC64.  It is not included in the portage tree, and kdeedu does compile on a G4 if the requirement is commented out.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~ppc" emerge kdeedu

Actual Results:  
emerge failed attempting to apply the sparc patch 

Expected Results:  
emerged kdeedu 

Powermac dual G4 7455 866mHz 
kde was running at the time

The patch is upstream. I removed that lines.
