in the last ebuild (omnibook-20040701.ebuild) there is in src_install(): doins omnibook.o || die it doesn't check if it should copy omnibook.o for kernels < 2.5 or omnibook.ko for kernels >= 2.5 if you replace the line with: if [[ "${KV}" > "2.5" ]] ; then doins omnibook.ko else doins omnibook.o fi it seems to work. I don't know if this is the right way. It's only copy & past. Thanks, I hope to reach the right persons here.
