La compilation n'inclut pas les traductions d'ardour. 
Le fichier ebuild ne spécifie pas, 
./waf i18n_pot 
./waf i18n_mo
Il n'y a pas le dossier /usr/share/ardour5/local/fr/LC_MESSAGES qui doit conteneir les fichiers de traduction ardour5.mo, gtk2_ardour5.mo, gtkmm2ext3.mo

The compilation does not include ardour translations.
The ebuild file does not specify,
./waf i18n_pot 
./waf i18n_mo
There is no folder " /usr/share/ardour5/local/fr/LC_MESSAGES/ " which must contain the translation files:
ardour5.mo
gtk2_ardour5.mo
gtkmm2ext3.mo

Fixed with Ardour 6.0.
