I keep re-adding them and they keep disappearing.

You are using /space/distfiles-local for patches upload as per

>mirror://gentoo/gentoo-${PN}-patchset-0.02.tar.bz2

This is used for mirroring, and files there are not permanent.

then I found


>RESTRICT="mirror"

which prevents files from being mirrored, and therefore they are not availible at dev.g.o after 14 days. The best course of action here is to move the patchset under dev.gentoo.org/~chainsaw.
