In short:

1) Keep FreeMind

2) Or if you must remove it add instead FreePlane ( https://www.freeplane.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page ) which is a fork and has active releases.

I like freemind very much. Other mind manager is heavy. It seems freeplane is the successor of freemind. So please include freeplane in the portage. Thank you.

I found freeplane ebuild, but I will not be able to test it in the coming days.

It works!!!
Now I use latest freeplane 1.9.5.
