I've seen this before on the bugs db, but I can't find the kernel in refrence to it. Would be nice to get a USE flag to allow the usage of loop-aes and to make it build util-linux-2.12h with the loop-aes patches instead of the 2.12 crypto-loop patches!?

Also perhaps patch this directly into the kernel?

Sorry, not interested in patching our kernel. Maybe you can try your luck with the util-linux maintainers ;)

util-linux-2.12p defaults to loop-aes
