1st patch for IP4

I know gcc:0 isn't stable but 0.21.4 is.
I came across this issue via profile upgrading with only gcc:9 installed.
This is at least one use case someone else might get caught by.

IIRC According to github 0.21.8 could be the version that includes these patches natively. It's 4 version bumps away from stable, as of today

Thks 4 ue attention.

2nd patch for IP6

Both patches must be applied.
/etc/portage/patches works fine for 0.21.4-r1

Mentioning the package name media-sound/mpd somewhere might be a good idea.
Comment 3 CaptainBlood 2019-06-24 12:15:49 UTC
I'm sorry package name is missing excepti for attachement names.
If there is a way to recover, I will be glad to do so,
currently dunno how. Anyone can help if possible?

Does 0.21.9 work for you? This is easier to stabilize newer one than patching older.
Comment 5 CaptainBlood 2019-06-25 10:22:59 UTC
I rarely use it,
Just went through this issue when emerging world.
Will return info here if 0.21.8 or 0.21.9 do built when I'll try.

Didn't you try on your side?
0.21.8 works fine here.
0.21.7 doesn't, as same bug occurs.

should be fine with newer version stabilized.
