Description Ilian Zarov 2002-02-13 14:47:40 UTC
Hi,
lcrzoex is a set of network tools written using the lcrzo library. A new version
has been released. It depends on lcrzo, probably would work compiled with an
older 4.xx lcrzo library but not tested. Patch from lcrzoex-4.03.ebuild to
lcrzoex-4.04.ebuild (=net-libs/lcrzo-4.04 just in case) follows:

11c11,12
< DEPEND="virtual/glibc net-libs/lcrzo"
---
> DEPEND="virtual/glibc
> =net-libs/lcrzo-4.04"

hi

why on earth would you include the description of what this program
does in yuor bug report? and why would you point out that the
program requires the lcrzo lib?

Umm, I added this package to the portage tree, I am the maintainer
for it. I am well aware what it is and what it requires!

Very strange.

 Hi,
this bug report was filed only to inform you of the new version released and
that it worked ok with the old ebuild. Description was included for drobbins (or
whoever gets assigned new reports in the Ebuilds category by default). Sorry.
Next time I'll wait some days to pass to see if it is actively maintained.
Afaik lcrzoex depends/depended on the same version of lcrzo. I remember lcrzoex
was just included as an example to the lcrzo library and its use in previous
versions. Not sure about the current situation, lcrzoex is now defined as a
network administrators toolbox so I suppose they were seperated at some stage of
the development.
