![]() I can remove the dependency, but I don't currently have a machine on which I can test the resulting ebuild. Which means you can't test-build the ebuild? Do you plan to stabilise 3.4.0 to get rid of the old version at some point? (In reply to Andreas Sturmlechner from comment #2) > Which means you can't test-build the ebuild? Not anymore. I fired up the VM I used, but there were so many changes to it in the meantime that the 3.4.0 build no longer succeeds. > Do you plan to stabilise 3.4.0 to get rid of the > old version at some point? I have no idea if KochMorse is actually being used, so it would not be my first choice for stabilising (something I have not done yet for any of "my" packages). Builds fine here on latest ~amd64, but the ebuild is missing several dependencies: dev-qt/qtcore:5 dev-qt/qtgui:5 dev-qt/qtwidgets:5 (In reply to Ralph Seichter from comment #3) > I have no idea if KochMorse is actually being used, so it would not be my > first choice for stabilising (something I have not done yet for any of "my" > packages). The same would be true for 0.99.6-r1 then, yet it was stabilised in the past by request of someone else than its maintainer, so it is not unreasonable to expect some progress there. Since no one has raised a bug against 3.40, adding arches would make sense. (In reply to Andreas Sturmlechner from comment #4) > Builds fine here on latest ~amd64, but the ebuild is missing > several dependencies I'll add these as build- and run-time dependencies. Still, I cannot verify ebuilds with Qt components at this time, and that is not likely to change soon. Is there perhaps a Gentoo "build farm" I could utilise? > The same would be true for 0.99.6-r1 then, yet it was stabilised > in the past by request of someone else than its maintainer Interesting. So far, I have not had a single request for stabilising any of the packages I maintain, but I'll take your word for it.
