The current release does not build against catch 2.5.0 for testing. Let me ask upstream to issue a new release instead. An automated check of this bug failed - repoman reported dependency errors (37 lines truncated):
> dependency.bad app-crypt/nitrokey-app/nitrokey-app-1.4.ebuild: DEPEND: amd64(default/linux/amd64/17.0) ['dev-libs/cppcodec']
> dependency.bad app-crypt/nitrokey-app/nitrokey-app-1.4.ebuild: DEPEND: amd64(default/linux/amd64/17.0/desktop) ['dev-libs/cppcodec']
> dependency.bad app-crypt/nitrokey-app/nitrokey-app-1.4.ebuild: DEPEND: amd64(default/linux/amd64/17.0/desktop/gnome) ['dev-libs/cppcodec']
