I'm not exactly sure where the domain de-mirror.org comes into play, but as I'm running emerge right now it tries to download stuff from de-mirror.org which obviously is not a gentoo mirror anymore. Whois says:

My /etc/portage/repos.conf/gentoo.conf contains the following:

Ah, sorry, I had GENTOO_MIRRORS in my make.conf pointing to it - closing the bug.
