*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 53901 *** Please note, this is not just a duplicate.... the ebuild for 2.12.0 continues on as if it worked. The 10.x ebuilds properly note that a failure has occured. its the same error, thats what counts if you can give the info i requested in the other report we'll reopen. bink /home/dgraves # FEATURES="" MAKEOPTS="-j1" emerge info Portage 2.0.50-r11 (default-alpha-1.4, gcc-3.3.2, glibc-2.3.2-r12, 2.4.21-alpha-r12) ================================================================= System uname: 2.4.21-alpha-r12 alpha EV67 Gentoo Base System version 1.4.16 distcc 2.16 alpha-unknown-linux-gnu (protocols 1 and 2) (default port 3632) [disabled] Autoconf: sys-devel/autoconf-2.59-r5 Automake: sys-devel/automake-1.8.5-r1 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="alpha" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CFLAGS="-mcpu=ev67 -O3 -pipe -mieee" CHOST="alpha-unknown-linux-gnu" COMPILER="" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3.1/share/config /usr/kde/3.2/share/config /usr/kde/3/share/config /usr/share/config /var/qmail/control" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/terminfo /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-mcpu=ev67 -O3 -pipe -mieee" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="ccache" GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://kant.zk3.dec.com/gentoo/mirror/sources/" MAKEOPTS="-j1" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/gentoo/portage" SYNC="rsync://kant.zk3.dec.com/gentoo-portage" USE="X Xaw3d aalib alpha arts berkdb bitmap-fonts bonobo crypt cscope cups dga doc encode esd ev6 f77 flash foomaticdb gd gdbm ggi gif gpm gstreamer gtk gtk2 guile imagemagick imap imlib jikes jpeg ldap libg++ libwww mad mikmod motif mozilla mpeg ncurses nls nocd oggvorbis opengl oss pam pdflib perl png ppd python qt quicktime readline ruby sdl slang socks5 spell ssl tcltk tcpd tiff truetype usb videos wmf wxwindows xface xineramaxosd xml xml2 xmms xprint xv zlib" I have tried with ccache on, off, -j1, -j2, and combos. I posted this in the other bug, wasn't sure where you wanted it. :) yes. also rebuilt libidl with those options as well. unsure which bug i should be entering data in. I've rebuilt libIdl to 0.8.4 with no ccache and -j1. Rebuilt libOrbit, tryed both 2.12.0 and 2.10.3.....no such luck. |
