Description Graeme Humphries 2004-10-18 15:49:40 UTC
I've recently updated to gnome-2.8, and I discovered a funny problem with the GNOME weather applet. I've set my city to Canada->Saskatchewan->Saskatoon in the preferences, and it pulls down the weather report fine, but for some reason it consistantly tells me in the detailed view that my city name is actually "London/Heathrow".

Now, call me crazy, but I'm fairly certain that it isn't -4 with snow at Heathrow right now. ;)

This is actually working today, but it wasn't the day before yesterday... perhaps it's a screwup in how the original source for weather info is being parsed?

maybe, maybe it just got an error or something & didn't identify it as such

if it's not reproducable, we got nothing to work with.

Fair enough. I haven't seen it replicate the behavior, so I guess we can assume it was a one-time screwup.
