Disk encryption in virtualbox is broken with =dev-libs/openssl-1.0.2r. After you enter a password, an error shows up: 

Failed to load the encryption filter: (VERR_CR_CIPHER_OSSL_ENCRYPT_FINAL_FAILED).

According to the linked bug on Arch, this bug has been fixed in 6.0.8.
