I encountered the same problem on an x86 box. Try running revdep-rebuild to fix any broken dependencies; this fixed the problem for me, though I'm not exactly sure which dependency was to blame. Unfortunately, trying to play MP3 files crashed xine with a segmentation fault, either by trying to play a file from the command line (e.g. "xine *.mp3"), or when I load an MP3 file with the playlist tool. xine-ui-0.9.22 worked fine, so I've downgraded for the time being. Compiling xine-lib while using nvidia opengl headers leads to this error If you use nvidia, Try this : opengl-update xorg-x11 (or xfree) emerge xine-lib opengl-update nvidia Solve the problem fot me. |
