I like clearing bugs, but this is not my area. Reassigned so you guys can get it right. -Jeffrey can you paste the error -- and by the way, we don't have any Gtk versioned 0.5.6 -- what exactly is the package? Hmmm, sorry, my very, very fault :((( The Gtksee-0.5.6 fails, after update glibc. And again, I sorry for the chaos :( the new glibc performs additional internal sanity checks to prevent and detect data corruption as early as possible. the actual bug is in gtksee... the new glibc just makes it more visible. if you want to disable this checking, type 'MALLOC_CHECK_=0 gtksee'. re-assigning to the gtksee maintainer. Give gtksee-0.6.0_beta1 a try and see if it works any better for you. No reply after a week. Considering it fixed. |
