Are there any workarounds for this? My system is borked. More fool me for not trying emerge @world on my test system first. (In reply to Michael Mounteney from comment #8) > Are there any workarounds for this? My system is borked. More fool me for > not trying emerge @world on my test system first. Installing 'dev-qt/qtgui' may be the only viable solution at this time. Installing dev-qt/qtgui fixes it for me and is obvious to KDE devs. -- and me now -- but wasn't so at the time of asking. Thanks. In qmake, the default value of $QT is "core gui" (ie. qmake assumes that qtgui is present unless explicitly disabled). It seems that the patch from bug #651012 is not sufficient. The bug has been referenced in the following commit(s): https://gitweb.gentoo.org/proj/qt.git/commit/?id=c5cba19e6c62c250b3ff6c75ee5c0967457c01d8 commit c5cba19e6c62c250b3ff6c75ee5c0967457c01d8 Author: Michael Palimaka <kensington@gentoo.org> AuthorDate: 2019-03-11 06:03:28 +0000 Commit: Michael Palimaka <kensington@gentoo.org> CommitDate: 2019-03-11 06:03:46 +0000 dev-qt/qtspeech: improve patch avoiding build failure with no qtgui Bug: https://bugs.gentoo.org/679210 Package-Manager: Portage-2.3.51, Repoman-2.3.12 Signed-off-by: Michael Palimaka <kensington@gentoo.org> ...qtspeech-5.9.4-nogui.patch => qtspeech-5.12.1-nogui.patch} | 11 +++++++++++ dev-qt/qtspeech/qtspeech-5.12.9999.ebuild | 2 +- dev-qt/qtspeech/qtspeech-5.13.9999.ebuild | 2 +- dev-qt/qtspeech/qtspeech-5.9999.ebuild | 2 +- 4 files changed, 14 insertions(+), 3 deletions(-) The bug has been closed via the following commit(s): https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=aa26da3778abf77ca12ff991630b2bcb49d180ca commit aa26da3778abf77ca12ff991630b2bcb49d180ca Author: Michael Palimaka <kensington@gentoo.org> AuthorDate: 2019-03-11 06:08:06 +0000 Commit: Michael Palimaka <kensington@gentoo.org> CommitDate: 2019-03-11 06:08:48 +0000 dev-qt/qtspeech: improve patch avoiding build failure with no qtgui Closes: https://bugs.gentoo.org/679210 Package-Manager: Portage-2.3.51, Repoman-2.3.12 Signed-off-by: Michael Palimaka <kensington@gentoo.org> dev-qt/qtspeech/files/qtspeech-5.12.1-nogui.patch | 23 +++++++++++++++++++++++ dev-qt/qtspeech/qtspeech-5.12.1.ebuild | 2 +- 2 files changed, 24 insertions(+), 1 deletion(-) |
