Any way this is just a request for an ebuild for samba 2.23a.

im getting to it.  personally, i dont like seeing these types
of 'bug reports', since it seems like more of a demand than a
bug report.

im not a slave, open source developers are not slaves, and
i am well aware that a new samba has been released, since
i am the maintainer for it.

please stop 'requesting' stuff like this through the bugzilla.
if you want something like this, catch the developer on irc
and let him/her know that a new version was released. or send
a friendly email to them.  quite frankly, putting this
garbage into the bugzilla is plain rude and obnoxious, at
least to me it is.
